Is it Desperate to Pray for a Husband?

Before meeting her fiancé Russell Wilson, who is a quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks, r&b singer Ciara asked God to give her a devout Christian husband who would love her son Future Zahir Wilburn like his own.

“I remember telling my friend the kind of guy I wanted: a God-fearing man with a very fun spirit who loves kids and would really, truly care for me. I was very specific because I do believe you can have it all.”

Now, I’m well aware that Ciara’s husband is not White and that she is not in an interracial relationship (although back in the day I thought that video she did with Justin was pretty steamy) so don’t @ me, as the kids say nowadays lol.

You’ve undoubtedly heard people say before that they are praying for a husband. And maybe someone has even asked you to pray for their husband FOR them.

Does it work? Is it desperate behavior?

I don’t think so. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with putting what you want out there into the universe and if you have faith, the law of attraction is said to bring those things into your life. I mean, even if you are not entirely convinced that the law of attraction works, it certainly won’t hurt to give it a shot.

I’ll never forget a story of Brooke Burke (one time host of a show on the travel channel and dancing with the stars) saying how she used a dream board and the law of attraction to get her jobs. And you hear other successful people like Will Smith vouching for the power of attraction too, so maybe they know something the rest of the population don’t.

What say you? Did you pray for your husband (or men, for your wife)? Do you think it has something to do with your success? Leave a comment below.

I’m all for universal intervention!💖💖💛 There is something to it,& nowadays people are more open to enhancing the use of metaphysics.
