4 Black Women as Contestants on ‘The Bachelor’

Sean

The Bachelor is back – and this year’s lucky fella is Sean Lowe (from Emily’s season of the Bachelorette).

I wasn’t a huge fan of Sean, but apparently the blonde haired, blue eyed cutie is into black women – and a record FOUR black women are on his season. Reportedly, Sean has dated a black girl before (tonights episode he says his last girlfriend was Black) and has stated multiple times that he’s open to other race.

One has to wonder though, has ABC just included Black women to appease the critics out there who have noticed the lack of diversity over the many seasons? And will any of the women last beyond a couple of episodes? HMMM – sound off below

Probably these girls were added at the guy’s request, given his tastes. However, I’m not impressed by these reality shows…these “relationships” don’t seem to work out. To paraphrase H.L. Mencken’s comment on Warren Harding being nominated for president, “Nobody is safe from being on a reality show any more.” I just hope this one, for once, works out.

    SPOILER ALERT!***********************

    And then there were two.

I’m rooting for em but not really seeing deep connections. Also, wish that one girl hadn’t asked sean about his ‘type’. Maybe it’s just me but it made her seem a tad insecure and was time she could have been spending making an impression on him as a fun, confident gal.

Know this – if you aren’t his type he will send you home sooner or later

I honestly think reality dating shows are bullshit. I mean, who finds love on television! Your just giving people a reason to use you, because they will think you have money. Not saying that all the women are like that btw. And I really don’t think the black women will last long, although they are educated and have great jobs.

I agree with Dani….Those black women are not gonna last – they never do

And then there was one…I figured Robyn would be the last one standing.

They were just added african-amer women because of that lawsuit that was brought towards the show on not ever casting a black bachelor or contestants. Seeing them was more like a “There, you happy?”.
