A Youtube Love Story: Debumaiya & Missavail

You really can meet the woman or man of your dreams anywhere if you open yourself up to love! If you take away anything from the following post it’s this message and that there is someone out there for you!

Case in point: The Story of MissAvail and Debumaiya
Debumaiya identifies himself as a Proud Western Canadian with Aspergers. Last year he started posting videos on youtube talking about what it was like to grow up with Asperger’s syndrome, when one special video entitled ‘Aspie by Candlelight’ caught the attention of another youtuber, MissAvail (who also has Asperger’s and could relate to his video).

MissAvail was a big fan of Debumaiya’s videos and decided to e-mail him. They messaged one another on the video site, he friended her on facebook, she accepted and they became friends. MissAvail was a little disappointed that the guy she was falling for lived on the opposite coast but their connection was so strong they decided to enter into an ‘internet relationship’.

After a few months of corresponding back and forth they actually broke up! However, they had made plans to meet in real life and decided against calling the trip off. Debumaiya made the journey from Canada to New York, where MissAvail lives, and when the sparks flew during their meeting, the relationship was back in full swing. They chronicled their first face to face meeting in the following video:

Two days after meeting, Debumaiya felt they got along so well, he proposed. Of course, as their trip came to an end neither of them wanted to say goodbye.

They plan to be married in June and MissAvail will relocate to Canada.
Here is the video announcing their proposal

Here is the recount of their story in their own words:
