The Search for the Perfect Home – Away We Go!

I love John Krasinski on the office, so imagine the pleasant surprise I got when I found out about this movie where he plays opposite Maya Rudolph (best known from SNL)

From IMDB: A couple who is expecting their first child travel around the U.S. in order to find a perfect place to start their family. Along the way, they have misadventures and find fresh connections with an assortment of relatives and old friends who just might help them discover “home” on their own terms for the first time.

This movie was really funny and overall pretty good. The opening scene is a little unorthodox (I won’t give away the spoilers but the movie starts off with John and Maya’s characters in bed). I believed the characters could be together and in love… in other words, there was definite chemistry there.

Here’s the trailer:

The opening of this movie is hilarious lol. They didn’t have a lot of money but they were supportive and loved each other.

Yes, it was definitely unexpected. It definitely gets your attention – and then you can’t help but wonder what it’d be like to have to act in that scene
